Brian Kaylor is a Baptist minister with a Ph.D. in political communication. The president and editor-in-chief of Word&Way since 2016, he is the author or coauthor of five books, the most recent of which is Baptizing America: How Mainline Protestants Helped Build Christian Nationalism. He is vice chair of the AU board of trustees.
