Wesley Roberts is a lifelong Tennessee resident who taught in public schools for 38 years (now retired).  He has been involved in evolution education for most of that time.  He has earned many awards for excellence in teaching including recognition by Metro Nashville Public Schools, the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and many local and national organizations. He has openly opposed laws that restrict the teaching of evolution and has gained national recognition for doing so. In 1996 he was chosen by the local ACLU to be the litigant in the "Son of Scopes" trial (if the 1996 TN Monkey Bill had passed).  He lives in Nashville, TN.
