Much of the Christian Nationalist culture war is taking place at the local level of government. Attacks on public school curriculum, book bans, and pushing local governments to support religious activity are happening in communities across the country. Activists are engaging their communities through outreach, education, and organizing efforts to challenge this threat. They know that silence is not an option. We’ll hear from AU and a partner organization’s volunteer leaders about the work they’re doing in their communities, and they’ll discuss how anyone can organize locally.
