A Faithful Fight: Reclaiming Religious Freedom to Advance Abortion Access ⭐
Date & Time
Sunday, April 26, 2026, 2:45 PM - 3:45 PM
Description

Faith voices reclaim the narrative on religion and abortion access.

As religion is weaponized to strip away reproductive freedom, diverse faith voices play a critical role in uplifting and defending access to abortion. This session will invite participants to reclaim the narrative around faith and abortion while resisting Christian Nationalism and ending religiously justified discrimination in health care. Participants will learn about unique ways people of faith, particularly from minority religious traditions, can fight for bodily autonomy, illustrated through two case studies of innovative Jewish and Hindu legal advocacy efforts. Additionally, equipped with new data-backed messaging guidance from Faithful Majority for Reproductive Freedom, attendees will be prepared to confidently engage their communities to advocate for inclusive church-state separation that protects and advances pluralism, dignity, and democracy for all.
