Rev. Douglas S. Avilesbernal is currently the executive minister of the Evergreen Baptist Association of American Baptist Churches. Among other assignments, Rev. Avilesbernal has led the annual conferences for Missionary Children for American Baptist Churches International Ministries and served in the leading team for the Connect Conference for young American Baptist clergy. He is a frequent speaker and workshop leader for regions and national conferences like, “Welcome to ABC life.” His published works include, Welcoming Community: Diversity That Works (2017).
