Description
The voices of Black nonreligious people are crucial for religious freedom yet are still largely overlooked. We are uniquely qualified to address how Christian Nationalism creates racial, reproductive, and economic disparities, and how Black communities can and will be egregiously harmed. This session will explore the history of Black nonreligious activism, the organizational work of Black Nonbelievers in the current fight for religious freedom and racial justice, and empowering Black Secular Americans, and how working with progressive allies can vastly improve equality for all.
