Frederick Clarkson has written about politics and religion for more than four decades. He is the author of Eternal Hostility: The Struggle Between Theocracy and Democracy and editor of Dispatches from the Religious Left: The Future of Faith and Politics in America. His work has appeared in a wide range of publications from Church & State, Mother Jones, and Ms. Magazine to The Christian Science Monitor and Salon.com. He broke the story of Project Blitz, the secretive Christian Right state legislative program, at Religion Dispatches in 2018. He has worked as an investigative editor at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and is currently a Senior Research Analyst at Political Research Associates, a social justice think tank in Somerville, Massachusetts.
