Ranen (he/him) is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and a proud member of AU's first cohort of Youth Organizing Fellows. In college, Ranen served two terms as student body president, where he worked on expanding menstrual products across campus, establishing a Food Security Fund, advocating for reproductive freedom, and investing in mental health resources for students. Previously, he has interned on the Hill, the EEOC, the ACLU, and Abortion Action Missouri. His writing on the Do No Harm Act has been published in the Columbia Political Review, and his op-eds supporting life-saving gender-affirming healthcare have been published in local newspapers in Missouri. In his free time, Ranen enjoys long walks around DC, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends
