Erin Reed is a nationally recognized LGBTQ+ journalist, advocate and speaker on the ongoing and increasingly dangerous attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, especially transgender people, often wrapped in the flag of Christian Nationalism and religious privilege. Her presentation will focus on this growing threat to these communities, how past and present anti-LGBTQ+ attacks connect to other fights like access to abortion and birth control, and the legislative battles she reports on.
